Christ wept. What kind of monstrous thing wraps up his auto-bio with “and then my successor ruined everything”? I wonder if that bio mentions waterboarding, “free speech zones,” or no-bid contracts, but I’m afraid that if I read the damned thing I’ll go berserk with rage.

He served in the House representing Wyoming for 10 years and went to the Univ of Wyoming. I think he is Satan incarnate. But I understand why they would invite him. I doubt that very many of them felt that his bio was a problem.

“Debatable” is putting it nicely.
The first and most obvious thing is that the quoted paragraph has nothing whatsoever to do with Cheney’s bio. Of course that means nothing to Cheney, because telling the truth or focusing on facts has never been a part of his life, but the Bar should have had someone check the facts at least superficially.

It wasn’t the right venue to express what he did. What he wrote was divisive and off point. He has and does expess his venom every other Sunday and with each breath he takes. I’m sure you are aware of this when you watch Fox. THAT is why the bar apologized. His bio was tactless and tasteless.

It was Dick Cheney’s biography - not a political policy statement. When you put together your CV, do you include criticisms of others who held your position previously? I hope not as it is totally inappropriate.

Dick Cheney almost destroyed this nation. His sidekick W stood there
and wore a flight suit. Cheney does not understand class, decorum and
is completely delusional. He disrespects the office of the VP every time
he opens his pie-hole. When was the last time you heard of a former VP
going on talk shows every Sunday complaining and lying about the current administration
to try to lessen W and his complete mishandling of the job for eight years?
He’ll go down babbling insanity and refusing to admit he did a sorry assed job
and killed a lot of Americans doing it.
