Discussion: Cheney: 'Outrageous' That Obama Invoked Ferguson In Speech About ISIL

If I were to say that both Teddy Roosevelt and Adolf Hitler had mustaches, would I be “comparing” one to the other?

Dear TPM

I refuse to fall in to this trap anymore regarding Cheney or any other Yahoo that should not be given air or print time. He deserves none of our time.

Give me a break. Obama knows how to craft a speach. That is something way beyond Cheney’s ability. In fact understanding what the President said seems to be beyond Cheney as well.

TPM, how about passing on stories about the ramblings of senile old war criminals.

Apparently Dick does understand that what happened in Ferguson was broadcast worldwide. Everyone is aware of what happened there, so the faux outrage if falling on deaf ears. Why be so ashamed when this is an opportunity to learn from our mistakes and take action to correct such from happening again. Oops, I forget he has learned nothing from his mistakes.

Except his obituary will be written in a flowery way, glossing over (if even mentioning) his vile and disgusting decisions. Think of the obituaries of people like Strom Thurmond, Jerry Falwell and Jesse Helms. The main newspapers were far, far too apologetic for their past. Same will occur with Cheney.

What outrages Dick Cheney and his mean-spirited daughter, Liz, is that Obama is president and that the American public has rejected his brand of international relations.

Cheney was stunned that a politician could acknowledge familiarity with the real world.

When I want to hear about what is or is not a valid moral equivalency, listening to a “man” who thinks torturing people is morally acceptable as public policy is the last “person” I will turn to.

#ImARepublican I think that the killing of unarmed innocent young men in America is more acceptable than the killing of unarmed innocent journalists.in the Middle East. Morally speaking, of course.

FOX’s star WAR CRIMINAL speaks. Who cares?

I think it’s outrageous that a War Criminal is given as much air time as Cheney gets rather than being in prison.

Every time a Cheney appears on television another voter leaves the Republican party.

While I find Cheney a repugnant person, your claiming that he has a monkey heart is not just off-the-mark (and somewhat lurid) but also sweeps the fact that Cheney (at his age) bumping someone younger and with better chances for a full life off the recipient list of organ donations under the rug. Some person selflessly donated a heart that this war criminal slimed his way into getting ahead of someone who deserved it.

What a waste of a donor heart!

Darth Cheney “stunned” there wasn’t a scoop full of raisins in his Raisin Bran.
The Ferguson mention was to show the once burned world audience that America, no matter her effective and, in Cheney’s case, calamitous preaching, undergoes critical self analysis as well.
But, the heartless mud thrower knows this…

Why are Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz not in jail for war crimes?

They have nothing to say, nothing that reflects any kind of reality. If we cannot send them to the Hague can we just ignore them and hope evolution has its way?

No. The outage is that Dick Cheney isn’t in a jail cell at the international court.

You’d need to slather about 20 gallons of Preparation H on this hemorrhoid to get rid of him.

dommyluc: ‘Outrageous’ that Dick Cheney hasn’t been injected with euthanasia drugs yet.
Or, at the least, shot in the face. I am not promoting violence. I am just standing up for justice.
