But mistakes are not crimes.

Um, yours are. Lucky bastard - he should have a felony record.

It’s not clear how he’s been supporting himself since’16, although he does a lot of traveling and has been spending a lot of time in West Hollywood, which is very expensive and much gay-er than his voting record.

Aaron had a mediocre political career and has moved on to terrible color commentary.

Federal charges against Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL) were dropped on Wednesday

Uhm. … Shouldn’t that say "former Rep. Aaron Schock … "?

His punishment should include working the cash register at downtown Arby’s!

He was represented by Jones Day, which is probably the top law firm in the country handling defense for investigations into “public corruption.” (A lead attorney in their Chicago office is Ted Chung, who was general counsel for Illinois gov. Pat Quinn when they were trying to clean up after the Blagojevich mess.)

Schock remained popular even after he resigned and continued GOP fundraising. Say what you will about the Illinois Democratic party, but at least they didn’t have Blago raising money for them after he was disgraced.

now jizzed a minute there, fella

Why shouldn’t these privileged white guys line their pockets, steal taxpayer funds, and then lie lie lie lie lie endlessly about it? There’s so little punishment and plenty of applause. And they get offered opportunities to do it again.

I’m relieved that a handsome young white man has managed to make it through a judicial system designed to make him fail.

excellent

He’s a pretty face and quite honestly compared to the last 2 years his crimes seem quaint. A simpler time when misappropriation of funds was enough to force you to resign in disgrace.
