Discussion: Chaffetz: Comey Wouldn't Tell Me Location Of Memos He Wrote About Trump

Hahahaha…they’re getting sooooo mad that we haven’t been cowed yet and that we all won’t just sit back, shut up and take it like we’re “supposed to.” To be fair though, Jacobs may have gone to the hospital just to document any minor injuries or because the police made him do it. It doesn’t sound like he was horribly injured if he was tweeting about it and focusing on his glasses getting broken.

Edit: This will probably earn him points with the base and increase his turnout. I’m calling it now as Gianforte wins haha

The guy is clueless, we should trust a guy who says he’s appalled by Trump’s nasty behavior toward women because he has a 15 YO daughter, and turns around and votes for him? His moral compass has gone haywire. Yeah he can’t be trusted, like Nunez, Gowdy, Ryan, all of them have zero integrity. And of course he sleeps in a cot. Too cheap to pay for a house or too lazy, hard to choose which.

Chaffetz is an irredeemable whore.

Also, who the fuck gave Jason Chaiffetz, the lying, resigning, outgoing congressman, sole authority to conduct any business on behalf of the House Oversight Committee on his ownsome? Sounds like he is Devin Nunes 2.0.

Are they in the trunk of a car? Is it parked near or is it far? Are they in a tree? Will we find them with a key? (This is kind of fun but, obviously, I’m not a poet)

Not if he isn’t currently collecting welfare or getting Food Stamps.

Didn’t tell ya Jason huh? Well, I understand why buddy. Comey doesn’t trust you.

I hope the reporter is OK and this works against Gianforte, but my cynical side says it will only serve to remind GOPers who might otherwise not be motivated to vote to turn out tomorrow to vote for their guy.

Not so sure about that …

I don’t think there’s a lot of ’ looking inward '…

as far as Jason is concerned —

@clunkertruck Jason is too focused on the inside of his colon to see the big picture outside it. As Neera Tanden just said on Brian Williams (paraphrasing) “Innocent administrations that want themselves exonerated by investigations don’t act like this one is acting. They fully cooperate with and encourage the investigations to follow the facts wherever they may lead. They don’t fire its head and try to undermine and sabotage them time after time after time.”

Chaffetz already announced that he is leaving Congress, a new chair is already chosen, so he is basically a nobody, just like me, and if I ask Comey for the memos he we’ll tell me to fuck off as well.

Oh yes of course. This is of course a corruption of the amendment’s prohibition of self-incrimination. The circular reasoning Flynn employs is as follows: “if evidence of my wrongdoing is extracted from me, I am protected by the Fifth Amendment.” For example, tax cheats will be happy to know that they can withhold their subpoenaed returns from criminal prosecutors on a constitutional basis.
Or how about this: “you want me to turn over my gun? That’ll only prove that I shot the guy!”

Fine time for him to develop a sense of skepticism.

Wow! He and other GOP’ers are showing, more so each day, that they are scares shitless about Comey, his memos and worse, what he’ll say under oath in public.

Gotta love it!

I’ll fix your statement:

What does Chaffetz know that makes him wary of Comey? Is it something to do with why Chaffetz is leaving Congress so mysteriously?

Yes, he’s scared shitless that he’s in serious legal trouble, via all the stories of him taking illegal laundered Russian cash.

Can’t blame Comey. I wouldn’t give smarmy little Chaffetz the time of day.
