In the local reporting of the Rohrabacher incident it sounds more like the 71-year-old staffer was trying to hold the door closed to prevent constituents from entering the office and lost her balance when somebody on the other side pulled on the door. The question about why she was trying to prevent constituents from entering the office has not been addressed.
No kidding. How many people have you heard suggest that we can stop all the killing in Chicago by giving everyone a gun?

I have attended town halls many times. I remember a specific one when the audience confronted my then Congressman Jim Kolbe (probably 15-20 years ago now) with specific and pointed questions. He stood his ground and answered them. But then that was a time when reason and logic prevailed and opposing sides spoke language the other side could understand. These days the divide is like being on separate planets. And then there’s our chief executive who can only babble for an hour and out of that time come up with 5 minutes of sanity.

Chaffetz and many of the other yahoos came to power on the backs of Tea Party protesters. They should realize that the worm had to turn. Just stay non-violent. Organize and push out any of these cretins who fail to work for the best interests of the American people.
