On Tuesday morning, voters who arrived at a precinct in Detroit were turned away because the voting machines were not set up.
According to ABC 7 Detroit, voters showed up to Martin Luther King Jr. High School and were stunned that the polls were not prepared.
Voting workers said there was a âmiscommunicationâ and that the voting machines were left on the other side of the school in a locked closet that they did not have access to.
The precinct was able to get the machines and said hopefully they can get them up and running soon. However, voters were turned away.

Where I live, a friend works the polls and they set up everything yesterday. She then left home this a.m. at 4:30 with some other poll workers to get there, probably by 5. They seem pretty organized in this rural part of the district.
