Discussion: Celeb Chef Says He Won't Let Trump Dine At His Restaurants During RNC

Trump will just buy the restaurant and fire him!!!

Plan B:

  1. Send Christie and Trump to Pierogi Palace;
  2. Christie feeding frenzy ensues;
  3. Christie accidently eats Trump and suffers coronary;
  4. Two problems solved.

In the meantime the House has caved on voting on gun legislation

No, you arenā€™t alone. You and Trump both creep him out.

:wink:

Dogs donā€™t like me. As long as that continues I can feel good about myself.

Imagine all the semen and fecal matter that Trump ingests from eating in restaurants. Does he know what kind of people work in the food service biz?

Good Lord, please, PLEASE let this become a thing! Iā€™d love it if Trump suddenly found that he canā€™t get service in any of the top establishments in the cities he visits. I believe thatā€™s ultimately what would gnaw at Trump more than just about anything anyone can do.

One of my armchair theories about Trump and what drives him is that even though he comes from great wealth, he was never really accepted or well liked by other wealthy people. He was always seen as kind of American Eurotrash, and he knew thatā€™s what his peers thought of him. I think thatā€™s why he turned his name into such celebrity, because he wanted to brand wealth. He wanted to own the image of wealth so that no one could look down on him. And for awhile he did, but somewhere along the way he became an even bigger joke than he previously was. Maybe it was his reality show or just the over the top excess and gaudiness. So, he got into politics to try to gain back some of his credibility as a serious person, and it worked. It REALLY worked. Presidential candidates were kissing his ass, begging for his endorsement, the former Veep candidate ate pizza with him (with a fucking fork-Jon Stewart). But then one Barack Hussein Obama laid down the greatest verbal ass beating of all time and Trump was a bigger buffoon, a bigger joke than heā€™d ever been. Thatā€™s why heā€™s running for president now, to get his dignity and credibility back, and to show those rich kids from Queens heā€™s one of them. Thatā€™s also why nothing will hurt more than to be turned away from restaurants like the Russian billionaires son who canā€™t buy his way into the hottest club in Brooklyn.

You know, when he hears of this he will immediately go on Twitter to disparage this man, his restaurants, and his food.

What the chef loses in Trumpsters he will easily make up in free publicity and the hoards of Dems who come out to support him.

In case Trump picks up on the free publicity angle he wonā€™t have a leg to stand on and actually, if he was honest, he would congratulate the guy for his astute, oops, smart, plan.

Probably doesnā€™t affect him. He has the diet of a five year old - hot dogs, lunchables, and other such swill.

You KNOW he will be talking ugly about him because thatā€™s truly the way Rump rolls.

But Iā€™d be kinda careful about that if I were Rump. If word gets out to very high class restaurants that Rump could be a major pain in the ass, he may find that he canā€™t get reservations anywhere decent. Wouldnā€™t you know - EVERY. DAMN. PLACE. IS BOOKED. FOREVER.

Of course, if doesnā€™t mind take out, what the fuckā€¦

Read that story about him ordering McDonalds for his flight crew. He probably went off to a nice dinner afterwards but scoffed the McDs so as not to have to buy them a good dinner.

If they donā€™t need the money, I think they should give him the ride of his life or for his life. Can you fake turbulence? Wind shear?

While I agree that Trump is creepy, this chef shouldnā€™t bar him from his restaurant. What if the chef said he wouldnā€™t serve (fill in the blank with any minority group), the progressive community would be up in arms. Letā€™s not be hypocrites!

Oh, just this once please.

I like your analysis. Thereā€™s definitely some kind of deep insecurity within him to be such a arrogant, bloviating fool that makes it his mission to puff up everything about himself with his over-inflated sense of importance. I think heā€™s still trying to prove to his dear old dead dad that he can make it in this world even better than his dad did, based on what he taught him about being ruthless and willing to discriminate if necessary to get his way. The Drumpfā€™s didnā€™t get to be rich by being moral and ethical after all.

Yeah but couldnā€™t Trump just send errand boy Christie out for pick-up?

Well, believe me when I say that every time Donnie opens his pie hole Iā€™d like to stick a rotten mackerel in it, but I just donā€™t like handing adversaries a weapon.

Feeding Trump is the same thing as feeding a garbage disposal.

Trump has never even heard of failing chef Michael Symon! He runs some kind of restaurant or something, his people are looking into it, but many, many, many very important people in the restaurant business have come up to Trump to tell him how Symonā€™s restaurants are doing terribly. Just very, very, very bad. He appears to be someone of Spanish descent, which is fine. Trump loves the Mexicans. But he seems to have some personal bias. Crooked Hillary! Sad!
