Former CBS CEO Les Moonves will not receive his $120 million severance package after the company’s board of directors determined he was fired “with cause”
That’s good, but:
allegations from women who said he subjected them to mistreatment including forced oral sex, groping and retaliation if they resisted.
When is he going on trial?
Me? I’m still willing to give the Groper-in-Chief a severance package. A one-way ticket to Mother Russia.
Well, that should get the attention of others who have similar episodes in their pasts. Hit’em in their bank accounts. That’s gotta hurt. Too bad.
Wealthy white male career path:
-
Get big contract.
-
Molest female employees
-
Get rewarded with huge payout
Very unfair, first they take away your ancient right to have sex with every woman in your organization, and now they take away your golden parachute as well? Bosses ought to “go Galt” until the time-honored rights are restored.
Poor baby.
He’ll just have to somehow survive off the hundreds of $ millions $ he’s been paid over the last few decades.
Lock him up with Cosby.
I gotta say, as a guy around his age, how do these guys keep it up? I mean, literally! That often? A bottle of Viagra in their desk drawer?
Variety helps.
Power is a powerful drug.
Womp womp.
Someone once said power is the ultimate aphrodisiac. That and hydraulics.
Please. More of this. Stop rewarding the rich and privileged. Add jail time for crimes proportional to times served by we commoners, and maybe, just maybe we can get back to “justice for all”. Maybe?
Siberia I presume?
If nothing else Moonves needs to be punished for the asshat thing he said about trumpp being bad for the country but being good for CBS. The details of what he did to women at CBS are horrifying so I’m not going there, but among other things there was a woman on the CBS payroll who was there specifically to supply oral sex on demand.
He sexually assaulted over a dozen women over the course of 20 years. The more successful CBS programs became the more to effort to protect him increased
You left out “secondly, they change the rules while I’m busy debauching with well-established impunity,”
Naw. To that bitchen remodel in Chernobyl. He’ll love the peace and quiet, except for the critters.
It was far more than molestation. It was sexual assault repeatedly over 20 years on at least a dozen women.
How about CBS gives all that money to the employees for having to work under such a douchbag? I bet the employees would really appreciate receiving the extra $10,000 per employee for having to work for such a disgraceful CEO.
Unlike CEO compensation, I bet the bonus would also boost company productivity.
That’s a start. When these guys start getting jail time (not fines, but actual jail time) then there will be real progress.
