Brilliant! Meet and strategize with the senators who are already on board while trashing and alienating the ones you’re trying to woo.

My first thought exactly. Pee needs a friendly audience not just in rallies… but everywhere…

People in Texas say daily prayers for the health of Louisiana politicians. Louisiana politicians are the only ones who can make Texas politicians look sane in comparison.

" It’s not over until we win!"- anonymous Republican. A little more than 80 years ago Social Security was enacted and conservatives vowed to “repeal every word, letter and syllable” of it. And they have been attempting to do that ever since- that’s why Social Security is known as the third rail of politics. It wouldn’t have that reputation unless conservative had been continuously been attacking it for more than 80 years. Certainly they will have that same kind of commitment to repealing the hated and despised Obamacare. Our great grandkids will be dealing with the next generation of bug-eyed determined conservatives who want to kill or cripple Social Security, Medicare and now add Obamacare to that list.

If we could harness the energy these people expend in trying screw people over, we could power the world for centuries to come. Ceaselessly evil, and doing it all on our dime–that’s the real welfare fraud.

Yes, that captures it.

The President clearly demonstrates how important this issue is by canceling his tv time and meeting with the Senators in person. — What do you mean he sent his aides? That makes no sense. At least Secretary Price will be there in person to – Fine - just forget it.

Hey, Trump’s dogged insistence on repeal makes perfect sense when viewed through the Trump Crime Family Corruption Filter: Trump promised himself and his foreign and domestic oligarch pals a huge tax break, and he needs to rape the healthcare system to pay for it. You’d be insistent, too, if you owed Russian crime families billions of dollars. Trump’s desperation for repeal is perfectly rational, even if completely immoral and corrupt.

Cassidy isn’t just on board. Like Pat Toomey, he’s willing to lie to everyone - including his fellow Republicans - in order to get a win. He damn near chucked Collins under a bus once he was done playacting a responsible legislator.

When will Price be shown the door? Is h one of Pence’s untouchables. Is there a list of senior admin/cabinet members that Pence brought into admin and has a single one taken flack from the President?

If Trump was serious about a replacement healthcare plan, he’d let fox and friends know that he’d lost me to see the show put a plan together.

From a couple of days ago but yes this is how it may turn out.

What is it that makes so many people want to sustain us as the most miserly, unnecessarily cruel, and uninformed country among the western democracies? We are arguably also the most “religious” among them. So are these attitudes in spite of this overarching religiosity of ours? Or is it because of it? I’m very truly puzzled.

Isn’t it the Calvinism? I think Americans are more likely to believe that good things happen to good people, and vice-versa, than in other countries.
