“Loser leads loser in trend reversal. Loser candidates trailing.”

This cries out for a “Downfall” parody. They’re often very amusing. Not as amusing as Trump when he’s even mildly disappointed, though, so it’s all good.

Sell a bunch of books while you can, Dr. Carson.

O Liberals! See how we make you’re heads explode! All the black people shall vote for him and the GOP shall be victorious once again!

Only in America could a man who has no idea what the debt limit means, but who believes that the story of Noah’s ark is literally true, be taken seriously as a candidate for president by millions of people.

Thomas Jefferson would weep.

a national poll shows retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson leading the pack in the race of the GOP presidential nomination

“a national poll” needs to find another line of work.

Great news for Democrats. 80% of the electorate will quickly figure out that Chance really is just a gardener.

Fortunately for Carson, he will have a lot of money bags to cushion the blow when the concept of Carson as President collides with reality.

Yes, a creepy gardener who digs a lot of big holes, but doesn’t plant many trees.

But it has NBC cooties all over it, so how can we trust it?

Trump won’t like this, not one fucking bit.

Anyone wanna bet he doesn’t call him a negro or worse?

Let’s cut to the chase here.

There’s no way a former neurosurgeon with no political experience is going to be the republican nominee for president.

Frankly, I’ve heard enough, TPM.

Just stop it.

Carson is a pundit on a book tour.

These numbers mean nothing until we’re down to the final 2 or 3 candidates.

You’re right. My money is on the rocket scientist.

There have to be bunches of good ole boy Aryan nation types sitting around roadhouses throughout the South wondering what in the heck is going on with their GOP. There is no way they will vote for this Uncle Tom. No way. But that’s what it looks like they are facing.

When the GOP is this dysfunctional that the Christian Wrong is lording it over the KKK (and Trump), you know that there will be blood at the convention.

These numbers will never mean anything, even then.

We don’t nominate candidates nationally. We do it on a state by state basis, with some “super delegates” thrown in afterwards.

He is down 14 points in NH, 13 points in SC and 8 points in FL. He is up only in Iowa. (I haven’t seen numbers from Nevada, but I suspect he is trailing there as well).

So right now, he would win Iowa and proceed to lose pretty badly everywhere else. Like pretty much every republican nomination process…Iowa is an outlier.

The interesting scenario, which while not likely, is possible…where a separate candidate wins Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada…and we are right back where we started heading into Super Tuesday.

Kind of been dreaming about that.
