He has two choices:
- He can agree with everything Trump says, and hope Trump self destructs with the electorate
or
- He can disagree with Trump, and invoke the wrath of Trump. If he chooses to ignore Trump at that point, his lack of standing up for himself and defending his position will kill him in the polls.

Since the Trump ārising tideā appears to at least be floating Carsonās boat - he will be well advised to play ārope-a-dopeā with Trump ā¦ or ārope-a-dope with ā¦some style & fanfareā - position himself as the closest competitor - and wait for the inevitable Trump implosion. NO - oiling up & shooting a Gladiator movie with Trump = not good.
Well, Iām not interested in either of themā¦at allā¦and I wish theyād both blink out of existence.

Not that I like Dr Carson but the thought of Trump passing judgement on Benās medical qualifications is absurd. The fact that neither of these gentlemen are in the least qualified to be President escapes not just them but a significant percent of the electorate. Thatās enough to make me reach for both the pop corn and bourbon. Depending on the outcome of the election.

Agree. My Dad was a brilliant Surgical/Clinical Pathologist and a well-loved and respected Med School Prof. But, I wouldnāt have trusted his judgement on many other subjects (other than classical music).

Trumpās attack shows me once again (if it were necessary) his lack of judgement and therefore his unfitness for office. Of course his slavering followers will lap this up. The level of interaction (I cannot call it discourse) on the GOP side is devolving in to what looks like a high school student council cat fight among those seeking to be Prom King.
If Wm F. Buckley or Reagan were still around theyād be ashamed of this GOP.
Why to people elevate doctors for their ābrillianceā over all other highly specialized technical fields?

Carson actually started the shit though, and now heās trying to hide his hand, lol. Heās not slick. Trump is petty, but he tends to go after his competitors after theyāve taken shots at him, not usually before.
