Discussion: Carson Dodges Answering Whether He Left Sponge In Woman's Skull (AUDIO)

Discussion for article #241558

“Left a sponge in a woman’s skull…”

… does not mean padding used to retract. Leaving something in is a major oops that the doctor has to own, regardless of who left it and why.

If I get a pebble in my shoe, I have a reaction. I think a surgeon accidentally leaving medical equipment in my head is a little different.

Wow, I don’t even know where to start on that one!!

What in the christ does that even mean. It was a yes or no question.

Honestly? It’s not exactly surprising that he avoided answering that question, especially if the case is pending.

That response was hardly sponge-worthy.

Sounds to me like he was close to admitting to malpractice. Not quite, tho…

Sometimes there’s a reaction to leaving foreign objects in someone’s skull when performing surgery in the head?

I’m shocked to learn of this new discovery.

Guess Trump was a little too kind in describing Carson as an “ok doctor” after all.

Am I the only one who thinks attacking Ben Carson’s surgical skills isn’t exactly the low-hanging fruit here? Whether or not he committed malpractice (which plenty of excellent doctors do… they’re human), how about from now on we go after the 1,000 ways in which he is incompetent instead of the one way in which he’s extraordinary.

No, you’re not. There is plenty to criticize Candidate Carson for, without rooting around in salacious malpractice cases for material. The man isn’t running to be Neurosurgeon-in-Chief.

Listening to not only the things he says, but the way he talks, I think someone left a vodka-soaked Tampon in this guy’s skull.

“But generally speaking there is no one who does the number of operations that I did who aren’t going to be guilty of a certain level of incompetence and malpractice,” Carson replied.

More proof that he is a narcissistic sociopath.
He doesn’t really care what happens to his patients they are just THINGS to be experimented on.
That is exactly how he would govern too. We would all just be THINGS to be experimented on.
