I’ve often wondered if Hillary Clinton’s safe Senate seat was “given” to her in exchange for not abandoning Bill during his impeachment. Of course if party leaders said publicly that the seat was “given”, the voters might demonstrate otherwise, so you’ll never find a public statement. That Carson would say this publicly shows how inept he is, and the offer is withdrawn now, if it was ever made.

It is a popular misconception among Clinton supporters that being as nasty as your candidate is somehow of benefit to her. Watching the trainwreck of Hillary trying to re-unite the party with all these people “supporting” her might be amusing, but electing Bernie would be better.

Doubtful. Everything I’ve read about them from those who know them – both positive and negative accounts – shows that whatever Bill’s issues with sexual fidelity, there’s a genuine affection and protectiveness for one another there. I’ve encountered similar couples IRL. Some get past it, some don’t, there’s different motivating factors for everyone, tailored to each situation.
