Even if it were true, so what. Itās not like Republicans would even care anyway. Hell, most could give a fuck about the Black people that ARE born and living now.
I find the āBlack people unemploymentā, āBlack people Planned Parenthood!ā, āBlack people being held back by welfare!ā arguments made by right wing to be disengenuous and phony. Come to me when youāre serious about equal rights. Wage inequality. Iād like to hear your thoughts on restoring voting rights. When Black people arenāt automatically presumed to be the guilty one when police shoot them while they are unarmed. Or how about ways to improve chances those in poor neighborhoods to have better chance at getting into college. What?! That is the dumbest math Iāve ever heard. If 30% of abortions occur among black women then 70% occur among non-black women. Not to mention that the more important statistics would be to look at poverty and abortions not race.
The only real way to limit abortion in this country is to provide affordable access to contraception and medically accurate sex education. Ben Carson and his ilk are only succeeding in making safe, legal abortions less accessible.

One of the major means to reduce abortion rates is through reduction of poverty and access to contraception. Unfortunately for Dr. Carson, the GOP has no plans to address that issue other than to call Black people lazy and kick them in the ribs. Making abortion illegal or harder to get just forces it into the shadows and then it really does kill more people than these idiots can count.

I donāt even have to google that statistic to know that THATās bullshit. Dear Ben, the reason so many Planned Parenthood Clinics are in poor areas is because those women need services of all kinds. Birth control, screenings, etc. etc. And yes, abortions in some cases.
