The president himself called these people “carnival barkers.” It’s constant and unvarying noise, like a waterfall. No reason in the world to pay attention to it.

I don’t watch FOX, not even the video clips available in various places. My apolitical cousin was talking about his dad who watches it constantly, and explained it’s like he lives in an “alternate reality from the rest of us.” I have no doubt it’s that bad, and I’m really happy I don’t have to spend much time around my uncle.

I believe he is referring to himself as “political prisoner” Dinesh D’souza now. Even though he not in prison, and politics had nothing to do with his conviction. Hey, he has got to pay the rent somehow. I hear professional victims are doing very well these days.

That’s a good question, but what struck me was how Carney was probably told he could say this. The White House is flipping Ablow off but not even allowing him the dignity of doing it directly. Very artfully contemptuous, I thought. : )
