Discussion: Carly Fiorina: Chinese Steal American Ideas Because They Can’t 'Innovate'

Hahahaha!!! Good one!

That Carly… “Hey let’s insult 23% of the worlds population! That oughta work out great! Don’cha think?”
No Carly I don’t.

In the last presidential election Obama got 75% of the Asian American vote. Probable reasons: Lack of respect for elders shown in trying to privatize Social Security and Medicare and raise SS retirement age etc. Lack of caring for the community shown by cutting taxes and expenditures on everything that benefits everyone like universities (which they pretty much all go to) an roads and bridges. And probably most important, the overall impression that Republicans just don’t like nonwhite people.

Carly is not helping.

You know the “business” she has been doing in China for decades, is moving American jobs there. This is not speculation, this is fact.

Darr, I’m glad you checked in here because I wanted to tell you how much I’ve been enjoying West Wing now that I’m streaming it and I foresee some binging in my future. I can see a direct link from the film American President to West Wing to House of Cards all created by Aaron Sorkin. These works bring cheer to the Democrats chez blue.

Um, Carly?

“In 2013, 51 percent of the 303,000 patents filed in the U.S. were of foreign origin, according to the USPTO. That’s a decrease of one percentage point compared to 2012, but about equal to the percentage of foreign patents granted every year for the past decade. To get some perspective, in 1963, only 18 percent of patents originated from foreign sources.”

and

“Additionally, more than half of startups in Silicon Valley were founded by foreign-born entrepreneurs, according to Wadhwa and the Kauffman Foundation. (Kauffman’s most recent index, released on Wednesday, also indicates that immigrant entrepreneurs are currently starting businesses at a rate roughly twice that of native-born business owners.)”

So, Carly, do try to keep up!

What’s happening on the ground in Iowa shows she’s not gaining support in polling, but they probably love to hear the crazy spewings since Iowa’s Asian is relatively small but it’s growing. She doesn’t dare come to San Francisco where we have a Chinese American mayor and city council members as well as other elected city officials and spew that trash.

Repeat performances of West Wing were common around the darr household during the latter part of Bush 2. I enjoyed seeing what it’s like inside the offices, how the people interacted …how issues were dealt with and how the press was kinda kept at arms length (when they could). I particularly recall an incident in the Oval Office when the Secret Service barged in and demanded everyone “stay away from the windows!!”. Some sort of breach of security had occurred elsewhere and the agents went into hyperdrive. That series was like an all access pass to backstage doings at the White House.
I certainly can see binging on that series.

For a republican that’s a tall order.

An American would never steal an idea and profit off of it. Like that sober Bill Gates fellow, who came up with that nifty GUI, all on his own! Not Chinese by persuasion. Coincidence. I think not!

Carly gets the Chinese. Huckabee picked the Iranians. Apparently there is a requirement that each Republican candidate single out a race or nationality to demean. No duplication is allowed! The Chinese and the Iranians are off the table. Who’s next? With such a large field, hopefully there will be enough to go around. If there are none left, or if you refuse to pick one, you are disqualified and not allowed to continue in the race for the nomination.

So, is innovation how you tanked your company?

I will tell you that yeah, Carly Fiorina can take a test, but what she can’t do is innovate. She’s not not terribly imaginative. She’s not entrepreneurial, she doesn’t innovate, that’s why she’s stealing Steve King’s intellectual property.

Apparently so, their minions love to feel superior to all, Carly is a big hit in Iowa according to the NYT. It is nauseating to behold the mean spirited stupity of Republican primary voters.

Repugnicans.

“I can sum up a nation of over a billion people in one insulting racist remark,” replied Ms. Fiorina when asked her greatest strength, “Followed closely by my ability to put large numbers of high tech workers on unemployment because I couldn’t innovate worth a damn either.”

Yep, just rattlin’ around – in a small nutshell at that.

So says the woman who destroyed the cultures of innovation at both Bell Labs/Lucent and HP.

Fiorina out, HP stock soars

CEO who engineered Compaq merger leaving after fight with board; will walk away with $21 million.

Carly Fiorina’s troubling telecom past

Before she became the controversial CEO of HP, Senate candidate Carly Fiorina was a star at Lucent. What does her time at the telecom disaster say about her?

The only thing Fiorina innovates at is the implementation of golden parachutes. She’s a real pioneer in that area.
