Discussion: Carlson Endorses Warren's Economic Plan: 'She Sounds Like Donald Trump At His Best'

Before you feel some amount of respect to Mr. Carlson for making a reasonable point, watch the full clip in which he speaks of Warren as a “race hustling, gun grabbing, abortion extremist” Tucker: Warren’s plan for US workers sounds like ‘Trump at his best’

Why is Little Tucker still on the air? Tuck and Hannity are both like dirt that didn’t get swept away with the pile,

Either he’s trolling her, knowing that his endorsement could only hurt her, or he’s trying to drum up support for her because he believes she’s unelectable in the general election. I’m not sure which, but I can’t imagine his praise for her is genuine.

“She sounds like Donald Trump at his best”. Hmmm, pretty obvious this is Tucker Carlson at his smarmy, little, ass-licking best. Such a man, such a man.

Let that be the least of your worries.

Doubtful of his motive. Try to make potential Dem voters dubious of Warren? And this:

“There’s not a word about identity politics in the document…”

Rethugs are perversely obsessed with identity politics.

Nostradamic prediction: in a future episode he will zero in on some comment by Elizabeth Warren and complain that he had liked so much of her economic message but he is now disappointed to find out that she is too much of anticapitalist socialist/communist class warrior.

I struggled in vain to find anything remotely Trump-like in anything the Senator says or does. And if I had found anything, The Rump lies more than daily so who cares what he sounded like at his best. The Senator;s proposals are worth considering though.

Not so sure that was a compliment. Trump is still a deranged dementia patient and Warren is far from that.

Doing my laundry instead in 3,2,1…

Wrong, Tucker. Donald Trump doesn’t have a “best.” Unlike Colbert, Trump is your monkey, and you mistake that for leadership, instead of what it really is - a measure of your gullible stupidity.

I think it is time for TPM to devote space to the plans of the various Democratic candidates. I have read nothing but good things about Warren’s plans in various media sources including the New York Times. On TPM, crickets. Maybe we could get some stories about what the various Democratic candidates propose instead of Trump’s latest toilet tweet.

Actually I get his point - they “sound” similar. The difference is that Warren is sincere and knows what she is talking about while Trump was reciting memorized phrases that the rubes would rally behind.

It’s a shame that little Tucker can’t tell the difference in Warren (who knows what she is talking about and is sincere in her message) and Trump who just spouted off whatever sounded good without a hint of it’s meaning or any intention of making it happen.

And, little Tucker will continue to back Trump as he pisses on his campaign message while he calls Warren a loser for trying to do something good for the country.

TPM is devoted to throwing red meat to the political left. If we stay mad, we sub and click. That’s their business model. If we do get some Dem news, it’s usually about something controversial they said, did, or are being attacked by other Dem’s for saying or doing.

Imagine being dumb enough to think that Trump ever actually had any sort of real economic plan beyond repeating bogus right-wing catchphrases or was capable of understanding any sort of nuance concerning the economy. And then imagine being even dumber than that, and thinking that Trump actually has “a best”.

If you can do that, congratulations, you’re Tucker Carlson.
