That would require tRump to be introspective, have a soul and admit that his attacks on the media are not how he really feels- that he does that to blunt stories that paint him in a negative light. tRump doesn’t seem to have a soul, he is an empty, bottomless shell that needs to be lied to constantly to feel anything. He’s not a leader, he’s a bombthrower that cannot understand that he is too weak and cowardly to lead. He talks tough, but folds at moments when he stood face up to people he talks about on twitter. His speech to national leaders in Saudi is a perfect example. He campaigned on Obama and Clinton not wanting to say radical Islamic terror, and speaking to leaders of Muslim countries, tRump whiffed and didn’t say it either. He had them in the room, as an audience and refused to use the same words he says Democrats are too weak to say. He is spineless and a fool that can and has been manipulated by other world leaders. He’s such a fool that he doesn’t see that people are taking advantage of him the way he claims they took advantage of other presidents.
We don’t have a real president. We have a reality show fop. Dotard is a good description of this fool that we have in charge. He has a twisted world view and despite having the entire government at his disposal to better understand what’s happening around him, he relies on his own sorry logic.

One of the reporters who was killed was Rob Hiaasen, brother of the writer Carl who writes great novels about crazy goings on in Florida, and he’s on Twitter talking about his brother. He wonders if we’re all one degree away from a mass shooting.

Probably the first time I’ve heard the state-run Deutsche Welle referred to as clickbait. In any case, here is the BBC version. Clearly, she’s not going to lose in this resignation fight, but it really doesn’t help when she is trying to talk some sense into Mango before he meets with Putin. Trump will treat this as a vindication of his policies.

Trump treats total disaster, the destruction of the Republican party, and national collapse as vindication of his “policies”.
I am beyond thinking there’s a “good side” of Trump or the Republican Leadership to which anyone (not worth many billions of dollars) can appeal. I am thinking that going to vote this November, and every time there’s an Election (or Primary) for any office is the only sensible thing to do.

Carl Hiaasen is my favorite novelist, since Elmore Leonard passed. No matter how wrong things got, his writing would help push back the dark and get me laughing again.
