No, probably not. But there are a lot of good things about Cantor’s defeat: (1) Cantor’s wired-in K street power disappears and Brat will be a powerless back-bencher; (2) there is always the chance of an Akin moment from this kind of nut; (3) his victory has other vulnerable GOP incumbents shitting bricks, which will pull their rhetoric (especially on immigration) to the right, thereby making them all that much more vulnerable in the general; (4) his not-ready-for-prime-time inexperience means Priebus & the NRCC will have to spend more money in VA. And Trammel could always surprise us.
Oh, and don’t discount the sheer spiteful satisfaction of seeing the smirking slimeball Eric Cantor kicked to the curb. Gotta love that!

I am speechless because he is speechless. So he never grew out of the sophomore year Aynn Rand bullshit, hell that qualifies him as a perfect Tea Bagger candidate, never let reality get in the way of policy choices. I want specifics how about free market and GM cars how did that work out? How about free markets and the AMA? Why do foreign born Docs have to retrain in a system under stranglehold by the AMA. a private group? Free markets would get rid of bad doctors as their reputations for killing patients grew, we don’t need all those pesky license and regulatory crap. The same for pharmacies, if a drug sucks and deforms or kills, the free market would let society as a whole that they shouldn’t use it. Why do we need the FDA to restrict the market with artificial rules and regulations? The scientist there probably believe in global warming and don’t believe god created the earth in a week.(sound of scoff)
