Discussion: Cancer Survivor: 'Why Do You Want To Take Away My Medicaid Expansion?'

I am beginning to think that Price might be the most despicable of rump’s cabinet members. To be a physician, and to find it ok to deny health care (not access, but actual care) to sick people is fucking unbelievable.

What a ghastly sociopath that Prick…er…Price is.

“The fact of the matter is we don’t. We don’t want to take care away from anybody.

Then why are you backing policies that will do just that?

A lesson I learned a long time ago, that applies in politics as well as pretty much everywhere else: don’t pay attention to what someone says; pay attention to what they do.

“The fact of the matter is we don’t. We don’t want to take care away from anybody. What we want to make certain, though, is that every single American has access to the kind of coverage and care that they want for themselves,” Price said, emphasizing that he was pleased Kline — who is in remission — could get the care he needed."

Sounds just as mealy mouthed as some GOP rep I heard last night who indicated that this is all about freedom. I think he meant freedumb.

Shorter Price: Move to Oregon where you can afford assisted suicide.

The Republicans are so damned lame that they have no freakin’ CLUE how to monitor Medicaid or the ACA to make sure it OK for those that need it…so they take it away from everyone. Honest to God. Dumber, lazier aholes I have never seen.

Remember back when we all hated George Bush? Bush was a saint compared to these people. I have never despised an administration this much. I hate these people and I hate that they make me hate them.

And the worst of it is that we know that they’re not done yet, that this is just the beginning. Next up: Medicare, gutting the EPA, more tax cuts for billionaires, gutting environmental regulations, gutting safety regulations, billions on a useless wall, more demonizating immigrants and refugees, privatizing, well, everything. That’s why stopping this first one is so important. It just might build up enough momentum, put enough friction in their way, to make them rethink or scale back their other plans.

Price (What he was thinking, instead of what he said): “The fact of the matter is we don’t care. We will take care away from anybody we damn well choose. That’s Freedom!”

Worse, we’ll always have Complicit Daughter and Son In Law saying they did everything they could to modify his bad behavior but taking credit when he acts sane.

And exactly who under the ACA did not have access to health care? Of course their are some areas where there is no doctor or hospital; however, it is my understanding there will be fewer folks that actually have insurance as opposed to having access.

Not the most ridiculous thing he said tonight

The sort that gets pricked–er picked for an unelected “Government” jobs when halfwits like “Frankenputz” get put into “Government” by a once great nation in which being a low forehead is a point of National pride, rather than ignominy.
That sort.

Now, now, now. People like Mr. Kline need to understand that their lives are worthless and unimportant compared to the need for Tom Price to make money and exercise power. Once he understands that, Mr. Kline will finally see that it is well past time for him to die.

I had a few chances about a decade ago to slap Tom Price across the face. I really wish I’d done that.

Kids can’t be enrolled in school in California without being vaccinated. We’ve been inoculated against insanity in so many ways.

It would not be prudent for me to say what I actually think about this.
