It is so important to keep an eye on these people. They are at the heart of the crimes around the election. Everyone is talking about Facebook which is important but I think these people are a bigger problem.
This is meant to isolate corporate liability than “re-branding” made necessary when the CEO let it be known that they were available to frame political enemies (and uncooperative friends) with evidence of compromising liaisons.

Of course they’re not going away. They have the data, they still have multiple back channel pipelines to keep the data “fresh” and it is all hidden in nooks and crannies in the big puffy cloud.
As many others have pointed out, this is far from the first company the whitewash its name, isolate liability to that other bad, bad company and hang a new shingle in 24 hours.
Companies like CA are the data equivalence to pop-up restaurants without the good eats or integrity.
