Of course in the authoritarian view, as soon as he brushes the officer’s hand off his arm he’s guilty of assaulting an officer and interfering with an officer in the course of his duties. And if he tries to shield himself from being hit with a blunt instrument he’s grabbing for the baton. If his arms and legs don’t fold that way, it’s obviously because he’s resisting.
I was going to say it’s sad to see the police apparently losing their legitimacy, but then I wonder whether it’s more that ubiquitous cameras and the intertubes let the majority see what the minorities always knew.

The officer said it was knocked off his chest from the altercation. They must attach the cameras to their uniforms with a wish and a pray.

So, will Stockton follow South Carolina’s lead and fire their out of control officers or follow in the footsteps of NY, Ferguson and hundreds of other cities and cover it up with “desk duty” or “take a week off with pay?”

This proves once again every law enforcement agency in the US should be required to wear body cameras. Were it not for bystanders the BS police report would be the only evidence.

Breathing while black can be seen by cops as resisting arrest. Esp. if the subject has the temerity to breathe in public.

How many more examples of police terrorists do we need before we take action under the anti-terrorism laws? At most this kid should have been politely told that he is not allowed to walk on the street, then ignored by the cop. But, that would arouse no terror in the black community, so the cop called in 8 more terrorists to make sure that all black people are afraid to resist anything the police order them to do, legal or not. That is pure terrorism, and it has been going on for over a century. It is in fact the sole reason for the 2nd amendment - to allow the terrorism to continue forever.
