Unending. We need some rain.
Chance of rain Thu night in the Santa Cruz mountains. More important, overall, is that the winds not pick up too much. Monitoring, watching, praying … and staying ready.
As a side note, do the anti-tax Howard Jarvis Anti-Tax Wingnut Association types ever wonder where those air tankers and fire crews and emergency responders (sometimes from half the state away) magically come from, when they need them? We are paying for them with our fricking taxes, people.
Hey, the fires are containable here for the moment (statewide) because the weather is in our favor. We also happen to have ample out-of state resources here to help with suppression for the moment. Us Californian’s appreciate the hand with all this America and will keep paying our federal taxes to support this great nation.
All blessings. I loved living in the Bay area (mostly Oakland). But the entire state is so lovely, so full of life, and so used to adversity (natural AND man-made) that recovery is a given.
