Are there ways to link weapons to the original seller and buyer? The chain of custody of these firearms might prove interesting. It might also be interesting to sweat everyone associated with these particular guns as an object lesson for needing proofs of purchase for each gun transaction and prompt reporting to authoritys when guns are misplaced or stolen.
OK, as long as they aren’t on the Terror Watch List it’s OK. Phew, we really dodged one there!

I’m sure these nice people would have made sure none of their inventory would have ended up in the hands of anyone who’d cause real harm. A kid inadvertently hit in a playground, maybe, or a few dead Planned Parenthood employees. No Terrorism ™; nothing serious.

Imagine how many covert shipments go undetected if they caught just this one. Do you know how many vehicles use this tunnel each day?.. 135,000 and that does not include the GW Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Verrazano Narrows Bridge. As a general rule law enforcement estimates they catch a drunk driver once every 500 times he drives drunk. If just one in a thousand vehicles crossing into NYC have such a shipment, well, that is a lot of guns each day.
