Discussion: BuzzFeed: In Court, Another Former Staffer Accused Conyers Of Harassment

Ok. Let’s what else bubbles up. In meantime, can someone explain what sealing the case does or doesn’t do?

I have a feeling we’ve only begun to step in the mud.

Why do these men always let their little brain tell their big brain what to do?

In the male of our species, there must be some still not-discovered nerve that goes directly from Little Brain to the decision making/reasoning section of Big Brain.

BuzzFeed quoted a spokesperson for Conyers who said of the accuser: “[The former staffer] voluntarily decided to drop her case.”

uh-huh

I have to wonder where this all stops. Certainly not with 45. No matter how many get caught up in this dragnet, he’ll survive.

But I’m beginning to think the only way out of all of this is to vote for the women on the ticket. If more women run and win, I bet we hear a whole lot less of this in the coming years.

As for me, I’m so disgusted by this whole line of guys getting caught up in it, I’ve even abandoned this site.

Where is the good news? Like more indictments? Like more stuff from Mueller? This is a bloody nightmare.

Well, biologically speaking, that’s all we’re here for, so I guess it makes sense. Sure is embarrassing, though. I’m curious as to how this will all play out. If nothing else, it might lower the age of congress. The generations who grew up when this behavior was ignored may all fade away a bit faster than they hoped.

When I was younger, we used to say, “Don’t let the little head do the thinking for the big head.”

Think this might hand Gov. Rick Snyder ® a chance to fill in Conyers seat? Just guessing…
