It’s amazing how subjective ā€œkilling itā€ is.

And yet, he comes across as awkward and unlikeable…wait, he’s Mr. Burns!

Ted Cruz ā€˜Approaches Going Viral Like It’s His Job’.

I often think of Cruz as viral. Or bacterial. Maybe a fungal infection.

Jesus. The guy’s fucking terrible.

The kind of fungal infection that resides right under your balls.

He definitely doesn’t have the face for a selfie stick.

ā€œBut it’s definitely, like, totally delightful,ā€

Not so much when you think about who is in it and why he agreed to it. There is a world, full of real people, that would pay the price if Cruz were successful.

I’m sorry I watched that. That was really awkward–I almost felt sorry for him–then I remembered who it was.

Were those really meant to be impersonations of the Simpsons’ voices or just quoting from the show? Nobody seriously could think any of the ā€˜impersonations’ were even close.

No…clearly you haven’t watched the video. He needs to keep searching for that niche. I’m thinking he should try rodeo clown.

I’m glad to see that he knows he doesn’t have to worry about coming across as presidential.

smarmy : behaving in a way that seems polite, kind, or pleasing but is not genuine or believable : revealing or marked by a smug, ingratiating, or false earnestness, as in a tone of smarmy self-satisfaction : of low sleazy taste or quality

I wouldn’t even like this if Cruz was a large breasted redhead in a bikini. It’s one of those things that’s just bad in a way that defies words accurately capturing the character of its badness. I mean, it’s not bad in a sort of ā€œI hate itā€ way and I suppose there’s something to be said for it being in good fun, but it’s bad, and if you can find the right adjective or adverb to add to that such that the description of its badness hits the nail on the head, then you win a cookie.

Good point! I wonder if he joined in the chorus of disapproval that came from the right about Obama appearing on a late night show, between two ferns, the selfie stick video, etc.

Wow, it’s like that definition was tailor-made for Ted Cruz!

Okay, I’ll give Cruz kudos for jumping in with both feet here. Wasn’t great, but not that bad either.

Mr. Cruz, you are so much better at this than you are at playing a good, honest, caring politician. You are trying to come off as good, honest and caring, right? Please quit your day job.

That was awful. Just not good at all.

But he thinks it’s awesome sauce. Just like his policies. What a coincidence.
