Discussion: Butina’s Lawyers Claim She’s Being Held In Solitary Confinement

Per her attorneys, Butina’s current conditions are taking a psychological toll on her.

Hey Snowflake, jail tends to have that effect on people. Buck up.

Not kosher.

Put this woman among the general population… she will be sooooo happy.

I can’t wait for Trump or some GOPer to complain about the “toll” it’s taking on her to be locked up and/or in solitary so we can tell them to go fuck themselves for their support of how Trump is making this country treat asylum seeking children and families, including his blatant refusal to obey the Flores settlement orders.

Listen, Maria – do you hear that?

It’s the sound of Jamal Khashoggi playing the world’s saddest song, on the world’s tiniest violin, just for you.

Your boss murders journalists; his clown-wigged puppet condones their dismemberment by bone saw.

Consider yourself lucky to enjoy actual due process, courtesy the US Constitution.

(You’re welcome.)

Then STFU until the judge asks how you plead.

“…she was moved there as punishment for giving another inmate her lawyers’ phone number…”

Oooo, naughty! It appears people in Trump’s [Black Hole] orbit don’t understand even the concept of “The Law”.

Solitary confinement is a form of torture. This is the opinion of Amnesty International and many American psychologists. If the United States proudly announces “we do not torture” and yet keeps great numbers of people in solitary confinement, then “we do not torture” is a lie.

Stop torturing this woman.

I don’t even understand what she did wrong. How does giving out the number of her lawyer result in solitary confinement?

“Solitary”

Does she mean without her gun?

I don’t understand her need to do this. Isn’t she permitted to have contact with her lawyers, within some limitations?

I don’t know but some say it’s all part of “due process.”

“Unless the court intervenes, she will continue to be held in this manner UNTIL SHE RELENTS, IS METED OUT THE FULL MEASURE OF PUNISHMENT SHE DESERVES UNDER THE LAW, SERVES TIME AS SENTENCED and ultimately require the attention of mental health professionals.”

I’m a spy. I need to tell my handlers that I told Lie #2, and that I need them to quickly make certain assertions appear to be true – creating backdated documents, briefing assets on the backstories they need to corroborate, etc.

I obviously can’t say that shit out loud, in prison, over the phone. So, I have 3 phone numbers. If phone #1 ever rings, it means I went with Lie #1. If phone #2 ever rings, it means I went with Lie #2. etc.

To help conceal the signal, I give the number to a different inmate, and I tell them whatever they want to hear to ensure they call that phone number. “Sure, it’s a lawyer. The best one ever. And they’ll send you a hooker. Two hookers. One is made out of gold. Call the fucking number do it now call it now.”

They call and ask for a lawyer. My handlers on the other side rolls with it. They also get the message: make Lie #2 true.

what about conjugal visits with her lawyer/boyfriend/republican operative/intelligence target ? that’ll help. Bring in some borscht, caviar, wodka, let her get jiggy with the Republican gunman

There are literally any number of stories one can tell to deprive prisoners of humane treatment (never mind innocent people of their rights).

You don’t need to take my word for this; just look at history.

If the KGB is providing for her defense, her confinement may be life-saving.
