It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a healthy work ethic and fully committed to undermining the Rule of Law…

Mark my words - if they aren’t all punished severely by the Justice system then they will be punished extra-judiciously. It would be better for all if a new DOJ did it because the other way won’t be so pleasant.

So what? We have Josh Marshall on the front page saying Democrats should simply investigate Trump, but not impeach him. This will get in the way of the Democrats agenda, which is…I have no idea. Then I guess the President who should be impeached but shouldn’t be impeached will sign the bills the Democratic controlled house sends up, whatever they might contain?
I guess the choice is between a party that gets stuff done but stuff that’s all bad for the country against a party that does nothing. Hopefully the Heritage Foundation can think up another policy for the Democrats.

We brought this on ourselves by failing to support our party, which can’t do anything because it DOESN’T HAVE ANY FRICKIN POWER!!! (Thanks to us). Talking about impeachment serves no purpose other than to divide Democrats, since removal from office will NEVER EVER happen, as Josh correctly points out.
An impeachment vote in the house followed by acquittal in the Senate would be a HUGE POLITCAL WIN FOR TRUMP! He would use it to claim vindication ("I’ve been found innocent. I told you it was a witch hunt!) and would then have an excuse to pardon all involved and suppress any further investigation.
What we need to do is to start supporting our party, not bashing it at any opportunity.

Impeachment is a feel good, which accomplishes NOTHING. Even if we remove Trump, the core of corruption remains in Pence and the GOP.
The ability to investigate and bring prosecutorial action will vivisect Trump, the Trump family and the Republican Party from stem to stern.
