No-one ā€œmisinterpretedā€ the acronym’s position. CNN merely gave him the airtime.

"If I could do it all again I'd eliminate the Supreme Court ruling,

Well… you can’t — And even if you could, Jeb, … remember …

Republicans are supposed to hate executive action —

Jeb!?: I’d Eliminate The Supreme Court’s Citizens United Ruling."

I’d eliminate their Bush v. Gore ruling.

But that’s just me….

Jeb can’t eliminate the Citizens United ruling and Bernie can’t just appoint a Supreme Court Justice who promises to overturn it* and neither of them is saying they would support a constitutional amendment.

Edit to add - *note: it doesn’t work that way

Well Just Jeb!. You don’t have the power to ā€œeliminateā€ a Supreme Court Ruling. What you could do is encourage Congress to address the issue by making a campaign finance law and then you could sign the bill if you were President, which you won’t be so shut up. Mommy’s calling.

Jeb didn’t just raise shit tons of money via his Super PAC, he exploited a loophole in the very loose campaign finance law by holding off declaring his candidacy for months when everyone and their tortoise-necked mother knew he was running, just so he could raise extra shit tons more without limits for his Super PAC. In other words, he was the most profligate exploiter of the decision in this race, on either side. Pure hypocritical comedy.

Now that it hasn’t worked out the way he planned, he’s getting campaign finance reform religion. How’s he gonna ā€œeliminateā€ the Supreme’s worst decision ever? Just by clapping…please?

Easy to say when it’s already been decided and you don’t plan on lifting a finger to change it.

Bush: I’d ā€˜Eliminate’

Why not? His brother eliminated all over the U.S. Constitution.

Why pour on Bush?

This is about Scalito.

When they envisioned Citizens United, they thought they had the Trump card (not the candidate)!

Now they desperately want to draw that decision back in, since it didn’t have the desired effect of ā€œBush! Presented byā€¦ā€

It’s funny to watch billionaires pour their money down a drain.

I hate to defend a Bush, but fair’s fair…

The quantifier ā€œif I couldā€ in ā€œIf I could, I would (such and such)ā€ makes the statement very different than just ā€œI would (such and such)ā€

Hillary and Bernie also use super pacs while at the same time denouncing them. It’s not hypocrisy, it’s bringing a gun to a gun fight instead of a wet noodle. That said, I think JEB! is full of shit and just saying this in yet another ill-advised flail (you’re not supposed to etch-a-sketch until after the primary), but that’s another story.

I have a feeling Jeb has a problem with elimination generally.

Too bad he can’t. Unfortunately he would just appoint the same type of Justices who enabled the Citizens United decision.
