I want to solve problems so that we can fix this and turn immigration
into what it’s always been: An economic driver for our country.
1.) The teabaggers don’t want to solve problems; they want to burn the country down and start all over again.
2.) The teabaggers don’t believe that “immigration” is an economic driver for the country; they believe that brown and Black people are basically parasites that are preventing America from “being great.” You know, like it says on Rump’s hat.
3.) Yes, he is appealing to the GOP base’s angst and anger. They LIKE that. That’s why you can’t outdo him. You don’t give them what they want and so, they are not interested in listening to you.

Trump unlocked the door that used to keep the craziest of the GOP base safely hidden in the cellar. Now they’re boiling up the basement stairs and out onto the lawn, destroying a good part of the house on their way out. Good luck getting them back downstairs now that they’ve gotten a taste of fresh air and sunlight.
