I wish he would explain just how, exactly, he would create âsafe zonesâ inside a country wrenching itself through a civil war, with a lot of external forces helping (or hindering). Also, he should try to keep up with the news, since his other suggestions are already being taken care of.
ISIS/ISIL/Daesh, or what you choose to call it - just for giggles, I like to refer to them as the former officer corps of Saddamâs Army - has lost 25% of the territory it captured last year. The Iragi Army is in control of 75% of Ramadi, and Deash was kicked out of Sanjar city last week. Easy to take territory, hard to hold on to. Mosel will be free of the soon.
This is another case of a c-in-c wanna be talking his strategy which happens to be what our president is already doing.
