Discussion: Burwell To Lay Out Key Issues GOP Must Address When Replacing Obamacare

She did a nice article in the Boston Globe today.

Not sure how much it will help, except to have stuff like this on record.

Ryan: All of the GOP agrees to repeal ObamaCare. But we can’t decide without Democrats what our next step would be. Till Democrats lead on this issue, there will be no alternative for Americans. Dems are failing this country.

Public record…

It’s nice of Burwell to provide Republicans advice they can scoff at and ignore.

…and that plans to not drop in quality

She does realize that private insurance has been dropping in quality, or at least in the quality/quanity of what it covers, for years to keep it somewhat affordable?

Universal coverage, end of argument, end of replacement search, end of health-care woes, end of financial ruin for illness, end of the embarrassment of being the tail of the dog, end of O-care pretty much and the end of the braindead fight.

The solution is right in front of them. We have to spend to save, we have to invest to reap the rewards.
Healthcare insurance per se isn’t the problem, it’s the delivery system that prioritizes profits before the real mission of health for all.

What is unhealthy is petty bickering over whom gets credit or whose name is on the title. Call it bi-partisan care and lets get on with it ffs.

You’re wrong. Pay attention to what Democrats are saying about what to do next, including this one. By the way, it’s Democratic voters who didn’t come out to vote who are failing the country.

@steviedee111 For the cynics reading this story.

Burwell and Democrats should just keep their collective mouths shut and let the Republicans hang themselves.

If the Dems don’t get out of the way they will just be pushed aside or trampled. It should have been obvious to the entire electorate that R’s don’t give a shit about the lower 98% and they don’t intend for them to have any government support. Remember their attitude about the 47% that vote D … “they want free health care, free food and everything” (Romney). That is still their attitude and now all those “takers” aren’t going to get any of that no matter who they voted for.

The Dems cannot stop the R’s from hacking and slashing all those programs for regular citizens so they need to say their piece and get the hell out of the way. They have to make damn sure the willfully ignorant in this country know who did it to them. In case people haven’t noticed … Republicans lie.

Ms. Burwell is under the assumption that the GOP gives a shit about any of that or cares.

NEWSFLASH: They don’t.

She wasted her breath. Those congressional mooks are paid very well not to understand what she said, and I am looking at a picture of Paul Ryan at an expensive dinner in D.C. with a couple of well-dressed lobbyists. Sad.
