It’s a twofer for the ODS-afflicted, like that infamous picture of him with a cigarette and a martini and an attractive white woman on his arm at a country club that showed him to be both an elitist and an uppity ni-CLANG. Oh, wait that last one was just a “he’s that guy” failed simile Karl Rove pulled out of his ass one time, not an actual photo or thing that ever happened.

I am speculating on that last photo with Mitch McConnell. The President’s gesture and McConnell’s clasped hands suggest that Mitch might be thinking, “I still can’t believe I have to stand here and be lectured by a twice-elected black President.”

The one with Gov. Perry standing on the tarmac is probably under-appreciated, but for the fact that Mr. Idiot Four-eyes needs a designated idiot box outlined on the ground to tell him where to stand.

Actually they’re Girl Scout Brownies (2nd and 3rd grade). Eh, I was a Campfire Girl. They start with the Bluebirds. Adorable picture though.
I noticed that about the Perry picture as well. Still, the R’s miss the larger picture of a changing American demographic: Perry has a painted box to stand in and the Commander in Chief (a member of a minority) is energetically descending the stairs of Air Force One.

I respect and honor this president. The tiara photo is priceless, along with the photo with the bunny. Both of these photos illustrate that this is a man who handles his office with grace, humor and dignity when required. I’ve been listening to a lot of negativity about “Obama’s legacy” over the past few months. The general consensus of the pundit class apparently is that Obama is mediocre at best. I disagree so strongly that I’m left almost incoherent with disbelief. These photos show just a few of the reasons that Obama will be long remembered.

And this is the guy the tea party loves so much? Putin looks like a petulant five-year-old (wow, he’s really short, too) whose father has just jacked him up in the car before heading into grandma’s: “Boy, you’d better straighten up and and fly right before l knock you into the middle of next week.”

I have always been impressed by Pete Souza’s photography. He has that rare talent of being able to capture so much emotion through his camera lens.
According to Rush Limbaugh, he was talking about 'colored" eggs with the ester bunny!!
