Discussion: Bundy's Son: Las Vegas Shooters Kicked Off Ranch After A Few Days

Discussion for article #223717

We kicked him out after he could no longer make videos that could get played on the Networks, or because he wanted free food, or because of something, he made a pass at my wife or somethingā€¦ yeah, RIGHT!

Weā€¦kickedā€¦ themā€¦offā€¦ the ranchā€¦yeah, thatā€™s the ticket!

Were they kicked off the ranch for being too crazyā€¦.or not enough? Thats the question that needs to be answered.

So many issues here.

How horribly sad that any of us, armed or not, need to worry about some nut case opening fire in a public place. That fact that this was police officers doubles the negative impact to all of us. Every police officer, even one enjoying a quiet lunch has to be alert to the possibility of armed confrontation at every moment. That increases the probability of overreaction by the police in any situation. The United States is now officially a combat zone.

Note that the casualty in Walmart was armed. A good guy with a gun is not the best answer to bad guys with guns. He might be alive today if he had avoided the conflict and waited for law enforcement to arrive. He was heroic, butā€¦

And how crazy do you have to be to get invited off the Bundy ranch?

ā€œ[T]he two suspects had ideology that was along the lines of ā€˜militia and white supremacistsā€™ and that law enforcement was the ā€˜oppressorā€™ā€¦ā€

And this would differ from Bundy how exactly?

Amen! That part jumped out at me. They didnā€™t shoot anyone else in the Walmart but the good guy with a gun. One of the many, many problems with guns is that they lull people into a false sense of security, they make people think they can confront anyone in any situation. Itā€™s really sad and Iā€™m sorry he died.

No kidding!

Let Bundy begin by telling you another thing he knows about the Negro. See, it all comes down to depriving of the slavery occupation of picking cotton at gunpoint, as liberty-loving Cliven can explainā€¦

The evil government is trying to make Bundy pay his fees or else kick him out, but Bundy is trying to kick out his homicidal supporters or elseā€¦what exactly?

And itā€™s all because of loving liberty too much, how again?

They probably were kicked out for being too OBVIOUSLY crazy. Ya gotta keep your loopiness on the down low like all good republicans.

ā€œAmanda Miller had worked at a Hobby Lobby craft store in Las Vegas, the chain store said in a written statement, but was no longer employed there.ā€

Yea, being dead will do that.

I do believe I detect the smell of pants on fire, Mr. Bundy. (Iā€™d love to see a tally over the next few days of all the clowns in local, state, and national politics who recently spoke of Bundy et al. as swell guys and patriots that are now ā€œqualifyingā€ or ā€œclarifyingā€ ā€“ LOL ā€“ what they said.)

The most dangerous criminals are those who would 1) shot armed law enforcement and 2) kill armed citizens. This could have been much MUCH worse. I only wish the suicidal impulse kicked in first. Got nothing clever or cynical to say ā€¦ three good men are dead for the vanity of lunatics.

A patron at the store who carried a firearm confronted Jerad Miller, not realizing that he was accompanied by Amanda Miller, who shot and killed the man, police said. He was identified as 31-year-old Joseph Wilcox of Las Vegas.
So much for the belief that arming everyone is a good idea.

This may not be a popular stance, but I see the perpetrators as victims too. Emotionally unstable people brainwashed by a toxic radical ideology that is purposefully nurtured by the right wing echo chamber (Beck, FOX News, NRA etc.).

So were they ā€œasked to leaveā€ the Bundy Commune before or after the shootings?? Or were they sent off to do their mission? Methinks it was after and theyā€™re just pulling a GOTP/McCain flip-flop to save face and deny any knowledge of their actions. Which we know is a lie.

How long for another Bundy Communist ā€œleave the reservationā€ and kills someone?

Time for a drone strike - I tell you.

They were ā€œKicked off the Ranchā€ at the request of the County Sheriffs who were PARTICIPATING in SUPPORT of the Bundy Ranch sideshowā€¦ You can see them right up on the stage with Bundy smiling and laughing along with the crowd. When these two lunatics started making noises about how all cops were Nazis to be killed, they were then ā€œaskedā€ to leave.
The Bundys know that you donā€™t bite the hand that feeds (protects) you.

ā€œHe said that while details were still sketchy, the Millersā€™ conduct was the problem. He called the couple ā€œvery radicalā€ and said they did not ā€œalign themselvesā€ with the protestā€™s main issues.ā€

Yep I bet. They undoubtedly came thinking that they were going to be in a REAL revolution. The problem was/is that the militias are only there to play act. They want to govt to fire on them first so they can pretend that they were the victims. The Millerā€™s got it backwards and thought these guys were serious. THAT was their mistakeā€¦not that they were ā€œvery radicalā€.

And then there is the poor jackass that though carrying a gun offered him any protection.

If he had been unarmed he would had ran and be alive.

But he believed the NRA BS and he saw himself as the ā€œgood guy with a gunā€ and though he could be a hero.

But even if he had succeeded stopping the Millers, he would still had been in danger, a swarm of angry cops were on their way and likely to shoot the first person they saw with a gun. Contrary to what the NRA would me us believe is pretty hard to tell the goodness or badness of an armed man, is not like the bad guys always carry the black hat and kick the dog.

So, in complete defiance of the NRAā€™s usual logic, this ā€œGood guy with a gunā€ Walmart victim basically brandished his gun, and got himself killed. If he had been unarmed, and did not wave his gun in the killersā€™ faces, he would be alive today. Iā€™m sorry for his death, and Iā€™m certain he sought to do the right thing, but the act of confronting the perps in a situation like this is dangerous and wildly unpredictable.
