Close Encounters of the Cow Kind…

Wait a minute Cliven. I thought you and your followers don’t recognize government. Or is it that you just don’t recognize it when it suits your purpose but love it when you can blame things on them and take government money? Personal responsibility GOP poster child this one.

Ultimately, his defense will be, “There weren’t supposed to be cows there in the first place. If the federal government had enforced the law, my cows would have been somewhere else.”

Jeezus, this “man” takes no responsibility for anything. The petulantly entitled – that describes today’s Right. And we all are paying the increasing cost of their irresponsibility.

Why is this man still at large? He is defying numerous court orders and used arms to resist arrest. He should be in jail. Does DOJ thinks he is a banker and therefore not subject to prosecution?

If ever there was a scumbag who wanted to have it both ways–it’s Clive Bundy.

I believe maintaining fences along interstates is the State job, not sure how Bundy is responsible for this accident. Is this cow accident any different from a deer or any other wildlife entering the interstate?

Now I know what I’m calling my next band: Cliven Bundy’s Wandering Cows.

“. . . multiple cows wandered onto an interstate highway, where one collided with a car.”

So, was it darting last second across the road in squirrel or neighbor’s cat-like or did it charge the car head on?

I think you mean the car collided with the cow as they tend to move out of the way, if at all rather slowly in my experience.

The guy, the “movement”, the “tea party”… Jes’ trollin’.

“Oh my goodness! Why, pray tell is this Bundy’s fault? I don’t understand, it’s the state’s job to fix fences! I just don’t understand. Will someone please explain it to me?” Good stuff, 7/10.

I suppose there are places in the West where, because of their relative remoteness, open range in the historical sense still exists. However, if it is federal land, then it needs a federal fence.

I’m just curious how she managed to hit a cow unless it was at night and she was driving too fast. They are rather large, slow moving and it’s not like they leap out into traffic they way deer often do in rural area.

The accident happened at 1:15 AM. Hard to see a cow when it’s dark.

"It’s a state problem. It’s not our problem," Bundy told the Review-Journal. "We really feel bad when it happens. We sure don’t want it to happen. But we’re not liable."

Somehow I don’t think of Bundy as an expert on who’s liable to pay for what.
