Great. Westboro “Baptist” “Church” has a counterpart on the Left.

I figured they’d be led by a guy named Randall Flagg…

So the supposed founding member is either a Maoist or a Stalinist. Yippee. Too much Che-tea has been drunken apparently.

Ah, had to look up the name to jog the old memory banks. Of those books, I only read The Stand…

I’m surprised the Lyndon LaRouche zombies haven’t showed up yet.

They usually gravitate to explosive situations hoping to make converts, like flies gravitate to shit.

Communists are so cute. All that nihilistic desire to destroy society and impose a new order that will make people do what’s good for them, self-contained ideological world view that’s impervious to objective reality, and insistence that their dogma cannot fail, but can only be failed. It’s just so quaint.

Okay, wait, we were talking about communists, not Republicans, right . . .?

Are they also “Kenyan anti-colonialists”? (and does that make Gnewt a Kenyan colonialists?)

What are the odds this won’t be a lead story for the talking heads at Fox News for the rest of the week?

I guess we’re at the point where Ferguson starts to resemble the carnival scenes in “Ace in the Hole”—a lot of cheap publicity whores glom on to it to advance their own interests, and tragedy becomes farce.

How many of these revolutionaries actually exist?

Still not as bad as the anarchists.

They’re at least three times bigger than the New Black Panther Party.

You start to wonder if stuff that is socially useless in this kind of way is quietly supported by shadowy hangers-on of the Establishment just to make sure people always see the hard left as more “out there” than the hard right, even though overall, it actually isn’t, and in fact will always waste a lot of energy accusing their different factions of things most people would think were completely esoteric. In any case, if the center-left and mainstream left weren’t so scared of their own shadows, these antics wouldn’t matter at all. But as things stand, they can be used as a wind-up by the RWNM.

Exactly. Just what I was going to say. And they are as influential.

Which anarchists? By definition, anarchists have no structure, so you can’t just say “the anarchists.”
