Discussion: Brutal New Ad Blames GOP Spending Cuts For Ebola Deaths (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #228752

Hell, if Republicans can plaster the TV with ads blaming Democratic Representatives and Senators for ISIL, this is certainly fair game.
Bravo. Love to see this group is fighting back.

There is a chart to prove the AD correct:

Works for me. Great ad. I’m not sure if it works for independents.

One thing is certain: The dumbass MSM will dutifully report how “unfair” and “over-the-top” this ad is, and will try — with righteous indignation — to force the Landrieus and Nunns of the world to defend it, which is a difficult high-wire act in a red state.

Brutal ad. Might help among the afraid, be very afraid crowd.

Predicted response of never-our-fault Rep party: “Obama should have pushed back harder on the CDC cuts, this is his fault.”

About time someone call the GOP out on their funding cuts. Frankly, they should paint them as the party that wants to kill every American. They should play this ad 24 * 7 nationwide! Ad the fact they cut NIH funding to.

Republicans think it is wasteful to have a trained fire department when there is no fire.
They prefer to start building a fire station, recruiting applicants to train as firefighters and soliciting bids for firetrucks after the fire has started.
Why pay for a firetruck BEFORE a fire starts?

Wow. The mouth-breathers are really going to flip their lids over this one.

Popcorn just seems inadequate at this point for maximizing the entertainment value while watching the Wingnut-o-sphere implode.

Not subtle, but neither was the “Daisy Girl” ad, and it worked. And this is a pretty legitimate argument. Kind of late in the day to start pushing back against six years of deliberately pernicious Republican budget-slashing, but better late than never, I suppose.

That’s a pretty compelling analogy.

I see how this ad will potentially backfire. We had only 1 death by Ebola in this Country while several other cases have been successfully reversed and those hit by the disease are in full recovery or have been cured altogether, proving the ad completely wrong. We do have sufficient funds to fight this and other diseases.

Unless of course Agenda Project Action Fund would like to go cure the rest of the World at American taxpayers expense that is.

You might want to go read what people are saying, that this is Obama’s fault and explain to them that everything is just fine and they should be praising the President.

Have you been following cable news? Fox is full hair on fire afraid. CNN and MSNBC, for God’s sake, are much the same. Ebola is going to save all cable news networks by scaring the pants off their watchers.

I don’t see how this ad fails.
