Discussion: Brother Of Black Man Allegedly ShotBy S.C. Cop: 'Justice Will Be Served'

Discussion for article #235114

In the video, it appears the officer throws the stun gun down by the body of the victim. This is
learned behavior. While not every cop would have done what this cop did, they all would have known how to rig a crime scene to suggest a justification for their actions, and that’s a symptom of the disease in the American system of “criminal justice”. And it won’t stop until the courts, the media, and especially, a large swath of the population (i.e, non-poor whites) stop giving the cops a pass on pretty much everything.

A video published online on Tuesday appears to show Slager shooting Scott in the back. Slager alleged that he felt threatened by Scott and that he had tried to take his stun gun.

In the spirit of your headline, shouldn’t the second sentence read: “Slager alleged that he allegedly felt threatened by Scott and that he allegedly had tried to take his alleged stun gun.”?

This is becoming to common an occurence today in the Black community and virtually unheard of in the White community.

" the unarmed black man allegedly shot and killed on Saturday by a South Carolina police officer"

No one is disputing that Mr. Scott was shot and killed by a police officer. What’s being alleged is that Mr. Scott was murdered by the police officer.

This has been a common occurance in poorer communities, especially in black areas, since about forever. Camera phones and video cameras have slowly brought it in to (middle class white) American living rooms slowly. Remember Rodney King’s beating? That’s when the violence “started”.

I wouldn’t be so sure justice will be served. After all, the armed police officer claimed he was “frightened” by the unarmed black man. That seems to be enough to get them off and earn them crowd-funded spoils from the bigot chorus.

I don’t think so in this case. This is pretty hardcore straight forward. Even if most people saw no wiggle room in some of the other cases, there was no video of the entire incident. There is simply no way around this one. He’s screwed and rightly so.

And it was the setup for the “justified shooting”
He was prepared to purger himself to cover up cold blooded murder. It brings into question all the other “justified” shootings that didn’t have the accompanying video. BLAM BLAM BLAM… OOPS! It’s the American Fucking way baby.

For the record,UNARMED black people DO NOT REACH FOR OR TRY TO WRESTLE ANY OFFICERS’ WEAPON. When you know you could be legally shot in the back, you comply with your killers instructions, and hope maybe just maybe he’ll let you live.

The victim was pulled over for a taillight being out. Wonder why the cop escalated it so much…and no wonder the guy ran, he rightfully feared for his own safety.

I hope the cop rots in jail.

I hope he rots under the jail. He reminds me of an old racists who found a negro on his property, then told him to run, as the man ran the racist calmly shot him several times.

For fuck’s sake, this headline is goddamn asinine. There is no “allegedly” about it: the video shows clearly and unequivocally that the cop did indeed shoot Scott. There is literally no question of whether somebody else shot Scott.

Slager. Shot. Scott. It’s as simple as that. There is no uncertainty. None. Do I need to say it again? The video indisputably shows that Slager shot Scott. Not a neighbor, not another cop, not a random dog, not somebody jogging through the area.

A reasonably precocious 12-year old would be able to write the headline correctly. C’mon, Josh, exercise some editorial control here. This is embarrassing.

The evidence of murder is unequivocal. Why is it then that I fear Fox Noise and the Corporate media will not be able to make the connection between this case and the rest of America?

It’s not clear to me he was “pulled over.” The guy was in the parking lot of an auto parts store where he had gone, according to his relatives, to buy a replacement for the burned out tail light. A minor repair which is, I suspect, considered a matter of much greater urgency when you’re black than when you’re white.

wtf – ‘allegedly shot by sc cop’… the fucking video makes clear that mr scott was shot in the BACK and HEAD FIVE times…

the casualness of this cop – and the brutality – is sickening to watch. the man is lying there either dying or already dead, and this murderous pig handcuffs him! and the way he just stands by after running back to pick up his dropped taser so he could plant it by the body… i wonder how many innocent people are sitting in jail/prison because this scumbag planted evidence on them. a review of all of his time on the force seems to be in order.

Hey, he may have missed with all those bullets that apparently brought the man down. There could have been a second shooter on a grassy knoll who actually fired the fatal shot as part of a liberal false flag operation conducted by one of Obama and Holder’s White Oppression Covert Action Teams. If you don’t use “allegedly” you’re showing liberal bias by foreclosing this realistic possibility which is, after all, no more insane than the stuff you’ll be seeing at Freep and Townhall by COB today.

So far the only heinous stuff I see is by idiot Chuck Johnson who knows (and suspects the cop did, too!) that the guy was dangerous because he got in trouble for a fight at 22, 28 years ago. But I tend to avoid the more scary places on the internet.

Given the almost daily occurence of this crap, I think what’s happening is that white cops have decided that they’re going to observe Obama’s final months in office by shooting as many unarmed black people as they can because uppity and scary.
