Of course, the maddening thing is that Brexit was, in part, a Russian campaign to break up the EU by splitting off one of its three greatest powers. Thanks to Tory cynicism and opportunism, and to a decades-long campaign of xenophobia mongering by Rupert Murdoch’s properties, The Daily Mail, etc., it was an enormous success.
