Meanwhile, Bill O’Reilly trots merrily along on Fox. And not one media story about his lies, both personal and on-air.

Mislead

verb; to cause (someone) to have a wrong idea or impression about someone or something.

Yes, you did intend to “mislead” because you caused your viewers to have a wrong idea or impression about several stories you provided while on-air.

Just go away. We don’t care. You have more than enough money to enjoy the rest of your life without the need to work. Just go away.

He “morphed” his stories …
He was like the guy who goes from being the assistant to the Manager of the New York Office to
being the guy who says he is The Assistant Manager of the New York Office

He is either: 1. A bull shit artist and liar or 2. Mentally ill or 3. A shitty journalist or all of the above. In any case, for NBC to keep him in any position of prominence was a lousy, off putting decision.

O’Reilly is a talk show buffoon, their job is to lie. Williams was the Editor and Anchor of the Nightly News. Huge difference and standard.

He had just signed a HUGE contract. NBC’s lawyers I am sure looked at any way they could get them on a total breach of contract so they would not have to pay him. Apparently that did not go well. They can’t have him anchor news, that would be a joke. But if they can find a way for him to do some “fluff” that makes some money, that will help pay his huge salary.

And if he decides to leave voluntarily and do something else, NBC then won’t have to pay him.

I guess this opens the door for O’lielly and faux when he can no longer defend his lies.

“Who needs truth if it’s dull?”

“…Meanwhile, Bill O’Reilly trots merrily along on Fox. And not one media story about his lies, both personal and on-air…”

That may be a bit of good news. Lies told by a leading personality of real news network gets scrutiny while lies told by a leading personality on Faux News gets a pass since everyone knows that the FNC is not a real news network. That being said, I wish that real Democrat politicians would stop appearing on that Channel. By doing so, they give that channel a patina of legitimacy…

Who is going to believe Brian Williams about anything? Who evens believes his half truths now.

He had his shot to come clean and he wasted it.
