Whether you agree with Brennan or not, based on his CIA history, a compelling interview with an articulate and intelligent patriot.

Trump does not care what he he doing to our country.
When Putin comes marching in anyone who knows anything will be silenced.

This is an example of great journalism, thorough and honest.

Brennan is one of those guys you know is a real bastard, but you are grateful he is our bastard. His clearance was pulled because Trump is so insecure he can’t stomach any views contrary to his own.

What really worries me more than Trump is the way most of the Congressional Republicans have knuckled under to the Russians. I am not sure the Russia story isn’t much bigger than Trump. There are several members of the Republican Congressional leadership who seem to be down with Russian interference with American governance. It is almost like they are being paid to turn a blind eye.

The generations of American leaders who hung to the notion that politics ended at the nation’s shore would be spinning.

It’s just an extension of what they’ve already demonstrated. To retain control, they’re perfectly happy to gerrymander the daylights out of Congressional districts (and to engage in similar tactics re: State offices), and have no qualms about trying to prevent eligible voters from casting ballots. For them, “democracy” is an obstacle, something to be overcome. Once you’ve adopted that belief, getting help from the Russians is a relatively small step.

Indeed, a refreshing change from the usual cable tv fare. Two smart people having an extended conversation about interesting issues. More of this, please.

It certainly appears Brennan is leaning towards filing a lawsuit to prevent Trump from further abuse of power in this regard, and I welcome that. As Trump has admitted it was purely a political hatchet job to the WSJ, I would think he stands a good chance of winning the case.

I haven’t looked up the actual figures but it seems like Rachel’s proven there’s a market for substance. And it’s presumably an attractive market, too—high education and income. That would augur well for the future.

It was terrific. And for anyone who can’t watch it, or in case it’s taken down (doesn’t look official), the show’s audio podcast is free and available in all the usual places. Compelling, indeed.

I’ve posted this image previously, but I don’t think it’s possible to post it too much:

Rachel said it at the end , She didn’t agree with many of his positions but lauded him as a patriot more concerned with the country than himself .
I was impressed

Which is exactly what he is trying to do now
Those who knew about the Russian interference
Those who have spoken out

Trump has probably been expecting Brennan to come crawling, begging him to restore his clearance. He is going to have trouble dealing with the fact that, not only didn’t Brennan cave, but that the criticism against Trump has ratcheted up even further as a result.

As for the enablers in the GOP, I’m tempted to “pull a Trump” and ask hackers worldwide to uncover the emails that show why the GOP is now so subservient to Putin and Trump.

I don’t have the figures either, but I think her broadcasts are bringing in more than the educated and high incomers. People want to know what the heck is going on and she is doing a great service to our country with her meticulous reporting.
