On the bright side, if Kobach still plans to appeal from this comprehensive and totally-deserved ass-kicking, his notice of appeal won’t be rejected for being too early.

Not enough. That little worm needs to pay the price for his crimes against the country. 20 years sounds about right. Lock that little son of a bitch up.

Kobach losing this case makes him a loser…

… and imposed “sanctions responsive to Defendant’s repeated and flagrant violations of discovery and disclosure rules.”

Which, I hear, will be exacted by former governor Eric Greitens.

And if Kansas wasn’t the most racist state in the country, he’d be disbarred too.

He didn’t just lose, he was also sanctioned by the court.

I think 30 years in federal prison, would be more appropriate!

True. But I think his candidacy for Governor has taken hit. For those not under the trumpiod trance, he is increasingly awful. For those under the spell - he is not effective/not fighting enough.

OMG, this is part of the actual order (at the very end). How completely embarrassing for him.

Yep – it took me some effort to copy it, but I was finally able to.

Gave me a momentary smile. His extreme arrogance will make this penalty very intolerable for Kobach.

I had to google doc it.

Disbar Him. Make Him Pay! Then Lock Him Up!

So I’m guessing this doesn’t happen too often? Judge sending you back to school?

I had to download it and turn into a Word document. But it was absolutely worth the effort because it is an appropriate measure, but one that would mortify any competent lawyer.

No – the Judge is telling him to take a basic class in civil procedure (and there is an implicit threat that she’ll report him to the bar for disclipine of he doesn’t). If you practice civil law, then you should know civil procedure cold – even if you are a baby lawyer.
