Discussion: Bolton: If Iran Does Anything Negative, They'll Pay Like Few 'Have Ever Paid Before'

Trump warned that Iran would “SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE” if it threatened the U.S. again.

What, Trump will replace Hassan Rouhani as President of Iran?

and now they have some russian expertise to help along too… oh, wait, that went so so well for them in afghanistan, right?

So he’s admitting that Iran hasn’t done anything wrong. Not that Bolton can’t manufacture a Benghazi or two to move things along to all out war. It wouldn’t be the first time in the last 20 that we went before the UN and lied. With a pathological liar at the helm in the White House, I’d say war will probably break out sometime before the Midterms and Donald’s military parade.

Allah is far more merciful than to let that happen?

If Russia does anything negative they will pay…several dollars, at least. Nobody pushes around the US of A! We will charge you several dollars if you attack us on our own soil. Russia will no longer be able to afford to order an appetizer when it eats at Applebee’s if it messes with us again.

Next 150 years and counting if the Russian oligarchs and our Top 1% have their way.

And we don’t have to serve anybody who speaks English with an accent.

A distraction the likes of which few have ever seen.

Let’s strap Bolton onto the first bomb to drop, so he can be sure it hits its target.

From a comment at Balloon Juice this morning:

(AP)

5 a.m.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is praising President Donald Trump for his “strong stance” on Iran.

Netanyahu says that Trump and his secretary of state were taking a clear position against “Iranian aggression” after years in which the “regime was pampered by world powers.”

Effing idiot!! I can hardly criticize the Israelis for keeping him in power, however. We’ve got worse.

The Saudis would like to wipe out the competition. They’d like us to do it for them.

Indeed. I still maintain that Bolton wrote this tweet. When trying to imitate @realstupidDonaldTrump it is important not to write in complete sentences and to throw in a few randomly repeated words. Also, eschew long words like ‘consequences’ and stick to the old favorites like ‘failing’, ‘crooked’, and ‘fake’.

You’d better hope that Iran continues to contain itself. Their words match our Dotard in Chief’s tweets in their hostility. No love lost at all. Iran knows the worlds oil supply is dependent on the Straight of Hormuz remaining open. If that closed down for any reason for any length of time, the global economy would be thrust into a pretty severe tailspin. With all of the semi-rational and thoughtful people gone from the WH now, if i was Iran, i would not want to tempt fate. T rumpp needs this war, and the Ayatollah seems ready to reciprocate. Their rhetoric lately is different from before T rumpp’s time. In all seriousness, this does not look good.

Nobody in the world is listening to us now. When Trump started speaking Russian at that press conference, he lost both houses of Congress and our position as leader of the free world. It’s over and everyone knows it. The Conservative Movement really screwed up this time. McCarthy might rise from the dead to come after his own Republican Party?

Why doesn’t Donald just resign and write off his loses to Putin like he should have done decades ago? He’s too old and fat not to get a major stroke if this pressure continues against him.

Then again maybe he should stay; and then when he dies, we can impeach that fraud Pence? He’s the one who was running the campaign and made all the decisions about Flynnn, Manaford and the Russians. Easy conviction with that one. Evidence everywhere.

Me neither. And I would think that I would remember because the media was quick to let us know whenever they seemed “low”. I think that the lowest he was at was somewhere in the 40’s but I think that they were pretty consistently higher than (T)rump’s.

Let Trump have a couple of Hotels in Tabriz and Tehran and Trump will settle for pennies on the dollar.
