There’s a difference … Johnny ol’ boy …

between lies … and facts that don’t fit your narrative —

Is this albino monkey :monkey: trying to justify his white lies?

I will be so happy to see this “Administration” go away, assuming we survive.

“He’s not taking his word,” Bolton said. “When he says ‘I’m going
to take him at his word,’ it doesn’t mean that he accepts it as
reality. It means that he accepts that’s what Kim Jong Un said.”

“Fundamentally, in the case of all three of those countries, we’ve got to pursue American national interest. And that involves matters much weightier, much more important than" interfering with our elections and killing a few people you don’t particularly care for.

Unlike earlier in the day, Bolton’s got some opinions now.

Reminds me of two quotes. The older one from The Confessions of St. Augustine,

It was a day when I was preparing a speech to be delivered in praise of the Emporor; there would be a lot of lies in the speech and they would be applauded by those who knew that they were lies.

The newer (and surprisingly coherent) one from Little Donnie Two Scoops,

I have embraced crying mothers who have lost their children because our politicians put their personal agendas before the national good. I have no patience for injustice, no tolerance for government incompetence, no sympathy for leaders who fail their citizens.

In logic, it’s called the fallacy of composition: Just because they lie to your face, you assume they lie to us.

Nice try, Bolton. It’s not a hearing test.

Have you ever seen a face that begged to be lied to more than this one?

Everytime Trump or anyone in his administration talks about America first or American national interests, you can sub in either the GOP and/or Trump’s personal financial stakes and it makes way more sense.

There’s no American national interest in us swooning over North Korea in one breath and accusing our allies of being liers in the next.

For a pathological liar strap-on Bolton can’t dissemble worth a damn.
