Apparently there is a new meaning for “scores”: “tens of thousands”.
This entire situation could have been avoided if they had not ventured to solve a problem that did not exist.
But a problem did exist: they were republicans and wanted to continue in power.
There is a problem in Texas that does exist. Property taxes are nuts in some areas and can exceed the mortgage payment.
The problem is that this suck-up thought he worked for Abbott when in fact he’s supposed to work for the people of Texas. Hopefully he won’t survive that error in judgment.

After what we’ve seen in NC, the idea that R claims of voter fraud would have any credibility is beyond me. The fact that Abbott has not withdrawn the nomination speaks volumes.
