The arguments made to promote the Iraq warâwe must strike before it's too late; diplomacy is a ruse and has run its course; the regime is irrational and can only be crushed rather than reasoned with; military "solutions" will in fact solve the problemâvery closely parallel those now being made about Iran. And they are being made by many of the same people, notably including Benjamin Netanyahu.
