One day a wise Democratic politician will realize that Republicans are wrong 100% of the time and doing the exact opposite of what they say would be the best choice. Running the country could be very simple, ask a Republican’s advice, do the opposite and see the country prosper, justice prevail, peace break out and the middle Class returned to its former glory. Until that day, we all must suffer.

What I find most irritating about this is that hardly anyone, on either side of the aisle, has the intestinal fortitude to make the case why our own little gulag in the Caribbean should be closed. Mostly because it shames us as Americans.

Much less make the simple, obvious point that we have tried many terrorists in Federal courts on American soil, without so much as a single incident that I’m aware of.

I’m so sick of spineless Democrats. Are they thinking they will be able to get votes from the crazy people (sorry, I meant ‘conservatives’), the stupid people (sorry, I meant ‘low-information voters’), and the grifters (sorry, I meant ‘Republicans’) - no matter what they say?

Pretty sure one of the main reasons the jihadists are “beheading Americans” and are so “dangerous” is the continued existence of Guantanamo Bay and the war crimes we’ve committed over the past decade. But to John Boehner (and to many others), America is completely infallible, so they’ll never realize that we initiated and perpetuated this cycle of violence.

The GOP is always talking about Obama being weak, until he talks about closing Gitmo, then they collectively wet themselves. They are tough until they see a case of Ebola. They are warhawks until their kids have to go fight.
