We shall seeā¦
Let me tell you whatās going to hold up every major piece of legislation for the next two years.
Abortion and repealing Obamacare.
Iād like to hear from the people who call themselves conservative. Arenāt you upset that your party has boiled itself down to these two issues? Especially since many of the abortion bills represent big government intrusions into peopleās lives and repealing Obamacare would increase the deficit considerably?
But if you complain about things getting held up, theyāll just tell you thatās their intention, that the best they can hope for under the dreaded Obamanation is that nothing gets done, just trying to survive until 2017 when we get a REAL leader, massive resistence, yada yadaā¦
You mean to tell me that Congress is ready to do what it is supposed to doā¦actually legislate?
Spot on!
āI left a smaller deficit and federal government than I inheritedā¦said no Republican in more than half a century.ā
Amazing that the Greedy Olde Party gets away with their hypocrisy and bullsh*t, and, of course, they do it piggy-backed on āculture warsā red herring issues for their racist, hate filled, bigoted, rube and low/no info ābaseā!
With a lot of clever deal-making and arm-twisting from Pelosi. Thatās the only way anything will happen in this Congress.
remind me what did the democrats get here
Itās disgusting that abortion as a political issue is tossed around so thoughtlessly, just another item to be hashed out mostly by men who have no understanding of the profoundly agonizing decision it is. Hereās our legislative list, thereās Obamacare, thereās infrastructure, thereās a trade agreement, thereās nuclear proliferation, thereās abortion, a deeply personal matter affecting womenās health being reduced to just another item on a list.
JohnB let NancyP touch his BOG (BigOlāGavel)???..
So tired of millionaires deciding whatās good for the rest of us.
Let me tell you that you donāt know whatās going on in Congress.
Nothing ever holds up an unconstitutional bill, or a bill that gives billions more to the Military Industrial Complex or a bill that gives more corporate welfare to the profitable multinational corporations.
The Democratic-Republican DUHopoly Party, Inc., always votes in bipartisan union on those bills, usually without a debate.
Who cares what the Democrats or Republicans in Congress get?
What do We the People get?
Boehner had to turn to somebody who was actually an effective Speaker.
