So says the hostage to the lunatic caucus…if there’s a nutso scheme to be found, we know where to look for it…coming out of the House.
It’s amazing to me that Boehner so regularly gets rope-a-doped by Harry Reid and still manages to hold onto his Speakership. If I were among his psychotic Tea-billies members, he’d have been bounced out on his utterly ineffectual ass months ago. Since I’m not one of his caucus, I’ll just say “well played, Mr Speaker! No retreat, no surrender!”
I never tire of that stock photo, showing the iconic grandeur of Mrs. Parks towering over the small, sheepish figures of McConnell and Boehner.
It even looks like she’s holding them by the scruff of the neck, before a long-overdue trip to the woodshed.
The only time John talked to Harry about comprehensive immigration reform, he was offering the Senator a rum and Coke.
Aw c’mon Orangie. you know it doesn’t matter if it passes. It doesn’t matter if it fails.
What MATTERS is that you be seen as the racist do-nothings that you are.
Right, Orange Boy – “nutso” like suing the President? What an embarrassment this guy is. Next he’ll be pissing in his pants and whining, “Look what Obama made me do…”
The GOP seem to hate minorities. Any minority that votes for a republican should have their heads examined. The way the GOP have treated President Obama because he is an AA is so bad there are no words powerful enough to describe it.
Many, many months back,Reid and Schumer called House GOP Leadership’s bluff when they agreed to the House proposal to do immigration reform piecemeal. Any House bill sent to the House can be amended in the Senate. The Senate CIR Bill passed 68-32. If Senate Dems try to amend a House bill into a CIR bill Senate GOPs who voted for it the first time will either have to vote for it again or flip-flop. Boehner knows he’ll be walking right into the punch if the House passes any IR/border bill. There’s no way out for Boehner.
You helped me look at that photo in a new, satisfying way. One dignified lady towers over the sniveling politicians.
Percent of voters that were “non-white” in…
–1992: …14%
–2012: … 28%
As per the US census…
–Percent of children 14-17 that are “non-white”: …44%
–Percent of children under 5 that are “non-white”: …47%
There is a demographic timebomb that’s about to explode (if it hasn’t exploded already). The Republican party is dying.
Teanderthals hoping the Stockholm syndrome sets in before Nov.
See: Projecting.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) suggested that the House border crisis bill be used as a vehicle for bicameral conference negotiations on comprehensive immigration reform.
“What?” said Boner, “That’s nutso. I don’t even know what all those big words mean”.
Oh America. You deserve so much better.
Vote.
If there is anything that Bohner and his caucus knows, it’s Nutso. They are the subject matter experts and the world class exemplars of NUTSO.
They move, they speak, they act–but they make no sense whatsoever.
Well he does have a point. Expecting House Republicans to do their jobs and actually pass any sort of meaningful legislation is pretty crazy.
