Jindal’s political strategy for the past 2 years is to observe whatever is getting conservatives in trouble, then after a few days of letting the issue simmer in the public consciousness, double down on it. It’s actually pretty funny, because he will do this no matter how pointless or stupid the issue is.

“Mr. Jindal, do you support hypothetical deception and pushing of a pro-war agenda based on manufactured reality by well-placed senior administration officials?” is a better question.

We should not play a parlor game focused on the wisdom of going to war, but the real parlor game claiming that the world is better with Sadam Husain dead is so much fun.
What a dweeb. You can’t answer a question using historical perspective but you can make claim about what might have been.
Given that much of The Islamic State’s military leadership would not have unemployed and radicalized had they still been in Sadam’s military, I am not sure Pyiush’s claim about a better, safer world is correct either.

Nothing stimulates thoughts of running for President like the alternative prospect of staying home and actually dealing with the $1.6 BILLION deficit you created as Governor.

I suspect that his refusal to answer has something to do with the fact that he’s realized that the GOP is in between Scylla and Charybdis here. If they answer the answer that the Main Stream wants, the Base is going to get angry and if they answer the answer that the Base wants, the Main Stream will think they’re deaf to what’s bad in the country.

Yet again Jindal proves that it is possible to be a stupid party of one.
Rinse and his crew are going to have to rent a stadium big enough to hold the 20 or so candidates but with a stage big enough to hold the six or so people who’ll be in the audience. I’d rather watch the 20 noble beasts who ran in the Kentucky Derby than watch this gang, none of which will cross the finish line.
Louisiana should go back to electing smart, but crooked, governors, like the Longs and Edwin Walker. This election of a governor who might not be a lawbreaker but is demonstrably and consistently stupid , all the while lacking any wit or ability to be self -deprecating (unlike, say, Governor Earl Long, who, speaking to the Louisiana legislature after being discharged from a few days of involuntary commitment to a mental health facility, answered hecklers with, “I am the only person in this room who this week has been certified by doctors to be sane”) has made the state more of a laughing stock it has ever been. If it had the natural resources of Vermont, and not the Gulf, Louisiana’s venal and intellectually challenged politicians would be hard pressed to keep the state’s economy running better than that of, say, Chad.

Louisiana has a huge film production industry, and the state basically subsidizes the film industry to make it more attractive to produce films there. State government takes a hit by its generous payments to the film industry but it outpaces California and New York in the number of films produced. One can foresee Jindal pointing to this as his major accomplishment.
Isn’t it called begging the question, if that means assuming a conclusion?
Obama withdrew troops from Iraq not without a status of forces agreement, but in compliance with a status of forces agreement. Jindal is just wrong. To say he’s lying would imply he’s smart enough to know what actually happened.
He may be dim, but at least he’s timid.
